What to Expect
Our desire is that this website will introduce you to much of the life and ministry we enjoy together here at Hopewell. Of course, the best way to learn some of the the great things God is doing here is to be our guest for one of our worship services.
At Hopewell, we are a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, talents, personalities, and interests. We understand that worshiping God “in spirit and truth” is not confined to one particular style. Therefore, we seek to honor God by utilizing both timeless and fresh expressions of eternal, unchanging truth. Our concern is not whether you wear a suit & tie or blue jeans, it is that you would come to know and love Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday morning worship service begins promptly at 11 a.m. Parking for guests is conveniently located just outside the side entrance of our worship center and one of our greeters will be there to help you find exactly where you need to be. Loving, skilled childcare is available each week for ages birth-3 years, in our secure preschool area. Of course, young children are always welcomed to stay in the worship service.
During our service, we focus on knowing and loving God by hearing and obeying His Word, the Bible. Each service contains several opportunities for worshipers to respond to the Word in song, prayer, giving, fellowship, and hearing and applying the Word taught by our pastor. Our service normally lasts about an hour.
Our worship service is preceded by Sunday School, a small-group environment where you can meet and learn with people just like you. We have classes for all ages and life situations, and class sizes range from a handful of people up to 5-25. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m.
